Sandee Kastrul

Sandee is a social entrepreneur, an artist, and an educator. She is the co-founder of University of Matter, Umatter,  a social justice design school. Sandee is the Co-Founder of i.c.stars. Founded in 1999,The organization prepares future leaders to develop skills in business, leadership and technology. She is an engaging and inspiring storyteller who draws on the connections between creativity, innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship. As the founder of non-profit and social enterprises, she discusses the powerful result of optimism and raising the standards for our communities. Sandee has worked in education for over three decades. Her educational career includes focused work on cross-curricular integration strategies, program design, diversity training, and leadership development. Sandee is a proud board member of Chicago Innovation, Minorites in Cyber Security, and KOIOS,technology leaders group.
