Nearly fifteen years ago, GREEN::HOUSE had the privilege of working alongside visionary educator and founder Sarah Elizabeth Ippel as the Academy for Global Citizenship began to take shape. At the time, AGC was more than a school — it was a conviction:: that education could nurture academic excellence, environmental stewardship, global citizenship, and the full potential of every child, regardless of zip code.
Today, that conviction has become a living reality. From its groundbreaking campus on Chicago's Southwest Side, the first fully regenerative and Living Building in Illinois, AGC stands as a nationally recognized model for what education can be when learning, community, sustainability, and human development are intentionally woven together.
Now, GREEN::HOUSE has returned as a strategic visioning partner for AGC's next chapter — exploring how this remarkable campus and community can continue to grow, deepen, and inspire for generations to come.
